- Containment: The fire was 99% contained as of Monday, Jan 27, evening. It has burned more than 14,000 acres.
- 顿补尘补驳别:听Officials have tallied 9,418 structures destroyed and 1,073 damaged.
- Lives lost:聽Officials have confirmed 17 are dead from the Eaton fire.
- Evacuations:聽All evacuations have been lifted.
Hughes fire
- 颁辞苍迟补颈苍尘别苍迟:听The fire was 98% contained as of Monday, Jan 27, evening. It has burned about 10,400 acres.
- Evacuations: All evacuations have been lifted.
Palisades fire
- 颁辞苍迟补颈苍尘别苍迟:听The fire was 96% contained as of Wednesday, Jan 29, morning. It has burned more than 23,400 acres.
- Damage:聽Officials have confirmed, so far, 6,837 structures have been destroyed and 1,017 damaged.
- Lives lost:聽Officials have confirmed that 12 people are dead from the Palisades fire.
- Evacuations: All remaining evacuation orders were lifted at noon Monday, Jan 27, with most zones converted to residents-only access. Residents were told to pick up an entry pass at Lot 3 at 1150 Pacific Coast Highway between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.

Price Gouging Prevention Update 鈥 Stay Vigilant
Amid the heroism displayed during the ongoing fires in the LA area, we are also witnessing unethical and illegal activities. It鈥檚 important to stay vigilant. Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo and other local leaders are working to protect consumers from price gouging during this emergency.
What You Should Know:
California law prohibits price increases of more than 10% during declared emergencies. Violators can face fines up to $10,000, one year in jail, or both.
